William O. “Bill” Pugh, age 91 passed away on August 9, 2021. Bill was born in Evansville, Indiana on February 20, 1930 to Orville B. Pugh and Delores Ann (Neu) Pugh.
Bill attended Mechanics Arts and Central High School, graduating in 1948. He served 8 years in the Navy Reserves on the USS Haley protecting the waters of Hudson Bay, New York from enemy attack. Bill retired from the Indiana Department of Transportation.
Bill is preceded in death by his wife Norma F. (Smith) Pugh, his sister Shirley Ann Ziliak, and his daughter Cindy. He is survived by his sister Linda Louise (Keith) Poehlein, nieces Angela (Tim) Ziliak-Titus and Amy Phillips, two step children Brent (Barbara) Smith and Claudia (Wes) Dupin; grandchildren and great-grandchildren from Muncie, Indiana; step grandchildren of Michigan and Louisville, Kentucky.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 4pm-6pm and on Friday, August 13, 2021 from 10am-11am with funeral services to begin at 11am. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
