Teresa Lynn Sartore
Passed Away on August 20, 2021

Teresa Lynn “Tank” Sartore was born in Oakland City Indiana on February 10, 1965 to Pete and LaVon (Underhill) Whitehouse.

She was a kind hearted, yet straight forward person. Always there to lend a helping hand, or a listening ear. Teresa was a “therapist” to many, her advice helped numerous people to get through some tough situations. She was a nurturing, and caring person who always felt compelled to take care of others, earning her the nickname “Mama T”. Her infectious smile and ability to find the bright side of things will be sorely missed, as the world will be a dimmer place without her in it.

Teresa was a long time member of the Ladies Auxilary of the VFW, the Eagles, and the Legion.

Teresa is preceded in death by her parents and her four brothers Monroe, Pete, Jess, and Lonnie. She is survived by her three children, Skylar (Jessie) Scoville of Patoka, Amanda (Korin) Trusty of Evansville, and Logan Sartore. She is also survived by her grandchildren Nevaeh, Kevin, Lily, and Shelby. In addition, she is survived by her brother Bill (Dianne) Hall and her three sisters Marlene Ashley, Martha (Bob) Schaffer and Ruth Greenwell.
A Celebration of Life will be held on September 4, 2021 from 2pm-7pm at the Community Center in Hazelton, Indiana.
