Sarah Mortis, 61, passed away on March 10, 2021. She was born on September 14, 1959 to Allen Hatfield Sr. and Alice (Carnahan) Coomes in Evansville, Indiana.

Sarah was a lover of music and had a beautiful singing voice. She grew up singing with her dad and loved it ever since. She turned her love for singing into a beautiful hobby with her loving family. Her music of choice was always country and she enjoyed listening to the guitar in her free time. Above all else, she loved her family very much. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Sarah was preceded in death by her parents; Alice (Carnahan) Coomes and Allen Hatfield Sr.; her brother Allen Hatfield Jr. and grandson Landon Mortis.

Sarah is survived by her children Molly Mortis, Jacob (Lindsey) Mortis; her life partner and care giver Larry Mortis; Grandchildren; Mariyah Mortis, Michael Mortis, Kaitlyn Mortis, Josey Mortis, LCPL Chance Evitts of USMC, Emma Wood, Braelyn Mortis, Carson Mortis, and Nora Mortis. Siblings Denny (Karla) Hatfield, Kelly (Matthew) Jamieson, Gary Hatfield; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be private.
