    Ricky was my best friend in Boy Scouts and in growing up on Russell Road. I remember his mom Sharon made the best buttered toast in the oven.

    Man I hate to hear this ! Rick and I ran the bars a little bit a few years ago , mainly the Red Fox and Lakeveiw in Chandler ! We spent so many nights laughing , taking and just hanging out ! He will be missed so much ! Prayers for the family 🙏🙏🙏❤️

Ricky L. Anderson, 61, passed away on April 29, 2023. He was born on September 20, 1961, to Tom Anderson and Sharon (Castrup) Anderson in Chandler, Indiana.

Ricky worked for the Carpenters Local Union for over 30 years. He loved being outdoors fishing. He looked forward to having his friends and family over for a pig roast or cooking ribs on the grill. He was an avid Colts and NASCAR fan. He was a talented musician; he played upright bass in a bluegrass band called Indiana Grass. Above all, he loved spending time with his family.

Ricky is survived by his siblings Judy Phillips and Kathy (Don) Hurm; nieces Chastity McKinney, Ronnie Jean, Amanda England; 6 great nieces and nephews; 6 great-great nieces and nephews; and many loving extended family.

Ricky was preceded in death by his parents Tom and Sharon Anderson; nephew-in-law Ronnie Blackford.
