Ricky A. Taylor, 59, passed away on July 21, 2022. He was born on July 25, 1962, to Wendell and Agnes (Merida) Taylor in Evansville, Indiana.

Rick was a proud Veteran serving his country in the United States Marine Corp. and served in Operation Desert Storm. He worked as a Fabricator at Sabic in Mt. Vernon, Indiana. He attended Bible Center Cathedral. He was a St. Louis Cardinals fan. He enjoyed being in the outdoors hunting, riding his bike, and spending time out in his garage. He was a talented woodworker. Above all, his family meant the world to him.

Rick is survived by his wife Tracy Taylor; son Joshua Taylor; sisters Regina Burgdorf (Rick) and Kathy Masterson; uncle Shelby Merida (Reva); and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents and brother Kenneth Taylor.

Visitation will be from 2pm-6pm on Sunday, July 24, 2022, and then following on Monday, July 25, 2022, at 11am until the time of service at 12pm with Pastor James Wells Officiating at Sunset Funeral Home with a burial to directly follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
