Nancy Lucille (Ivy) Barrett, 82, passed away on April 22, 2023. She was born on November 5, 1940.
Nancy had a heart of pure gold. Nancy knew no stranger and loved fiercely. She worked as a caregiver for over 20 years. She was an avid sports fan, she didn’t miss a game cheering on Cardinals Baseball, Pacer Basketball, and Hoosier Basketball. She liked to play the slots in her free time; she had quite the luck at the casino. Above all, her family meant everything to her. Nancy will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her.
Nancy is survived by her son Robert (Denise) Espy; grandchildren Justin Andrew Gowins Sr., Megan Sutton, and Jenny O’Brian; great-grandson Justin Andrew Gowins Jr.; sister Julia Hart; brother Theron Scott; sons brother-in-law Ed Jackson; numerous loving extended family.
Nancy was preceded in death by her daughter Rhonda Gowins.
