Mary Ellen Gardner, 89, of Evansville, Indiana went to be with the Lord on Sunday December 12, 2021. Mary was born in Evansville, Indiana on October 4, 1932 to Milburn and Mary Ellen Glore.
Mary loved the Lord, and was a devoted Christian. She was so loving and caring. She would do anything for anyone. Mary adored her family and did everything she could for them. Mary loved watching sports especially her St. Louis Cardinals. She enjoyed watching Hallmark movies and everything about Christmas.
Mary will be missed by her son Richard (Ginger) Gardner. She also leaved behind her grandchildren; Miranda (Dean) Kranke, Eric (Amanda) Gardner, Adam (Micha) Gardner, Kyle Gardner, and Kayla (Justin) Daman. Mary is also survived by her great grandchildren; Michael, Danielle, Jonathon, Noah, Owen, Olivia, Lily, Levi, and Myla. She also leaved behind her sister Sandy (Ken) Bailey, many nieces and nephews, and extended family.
Mary is preceded in passing by her loving husband of 54 years Floyd L. Gardner as well as her son Douglas Gardner. Mary is also preceded in passing by her parents Milburn and Mary Ellen Glore and her brother Dewey Glore.
Visitation for Mary will be at Sunset Funeral Home Monday December 13, 2021 from 5pm to 8pm. Visitation on Tuesday will be 10am to 11am with service at 11am and graveside to follow.
