Margie Regina Armstrong, 83, passed away on December 9, 2019. She was born on January 28, 1936 to William and Philomina Kessler in Olney, Illinois

Margie loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and siblings as often as possible. She absolutely loved the holidays. Her favorite was Christmas. She enjoyed gardening and loved flowers. Margie was a seamstress for over 60 years and made all her children’s clothes. She also loved her cats Spooky, Missy, and Twinkles.

Margie is survived by her children Lisa (Keith) Miller, Debra (Randall) Peaugh, Vicki (Michael) Johnson, and Randy Armstrong (Sandy Peay); her grandchildren Justin Armstrong, Brad (Abigail) Armstrong, Courtney (Jeff) Danault, Jeromy Armstrong, Sarah Bickett, Morgan Johnson (Sadie Smith), Spencer Peaugh, and Corey Peaugh; her great-grandchildren Kyle Peaugh, Aaron Peaugh, Sky Peaugh, and Bella Danault; her siblings Mildred Seibert and Thomas Kessler; her daughter-in-law Carol Armstrong; and several loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Margie was preceded in death by her son Don Armstrong; and her siblings Alvera (Dale) Snively, Mary (Doug) Garwood, Robert Kessler, Rita (Edward) Hudson, and Constance Kessler.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. on Monday, December 16th at Sunset Funeral Home with a burial to directly follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that everyone bring in an ornament with their name on it for Margie’s Christmas Tree.
