I met Margie through my dad Phillip Dinkins, he sold roofing to her business. She was a kind loving woman whome I had great respect for. I’m very sorry for your loss.
Margie Ann Tipton, 72, passed away on February 3, 2020. She was born on July 15, 1947 to Frank Owen Jr. and Dorothy Owen in Alton, Illinois.
Margie was a wonderful woman with a huge heart. She owned her own business for 15 years called Do Right Construction. She also was a truck driver for her company and Brinks Armored Security. Margie loved to fish anywhere she could. She raised and owned Clydesdale horses. On many occasions, she would get out her horses and white patton leather carriage and give children rides around Burdette Park. She was known to the children as “Maggie”. Margie also loved her dog, Gabby.
Margie is survived by her children Rhonda Bray (Robert Clark), Heavenley McIntosh, and Frank Neale, her grandchildren Johnny, Scarlet, and Jordan; her six great-grandchildren; her companion Eric Nichols; and her loving friend Jerry Exline.
Margie was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Dennis Owen; and her grandson Johnathan Detalente.
Per Margie’s wishes there will be no funeral service.
