Frances L. (Smithhart) Strupp, 87, passed away on September 19, 2022. She was born on October 22, 1934 in Evansville, Indiana.
Frances graduated from Central High School in 1953 and attended all reunions then after. She went on to work as a Pediatric Nurse for 18 years. She taught at North Posey for many years. Frances was strong in her faith and loved the Lord, she became an Ordained Reverend. She was very involved; she belonged to about every organization in Evansville. She enjoyed crafting and was very talented.
Frances is survived by her nephew David (Barbara) Strupp; daughter-in-law Pam Ethridge; grandsons Travis (Leslie) Farmer and Chance (Cheryl) Farmer, 3 step-grandchildren Deavron (Jeanine) Farmer, Sean (Cheryl) Farmer, Rick (Connie) Davis; 9 great-grandchildren; and her friendly neighbors and good friends Jim and Janet Goode.
Frances was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years Arthur Dilbert Strupp; son William F. Farmer Jr.; parents William “Rosco” Smithhart and Lillian (Barrett) Smithhart; and siblings Pauline Fredrick, Barbara Bond, Joseph Smithhart, Rodney Smithhart, Robert Smithhart.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 9am until the time of service at 11am on Monday, September 26, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home with a burial to directly follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
