Eric was a great person.. I meet him and was his caregiver starting In December of 2021. We actually become good friends.. talked a lot about our families.. I will miss him. Rest in Peace Eric!
Eric Bowdry, passed away on March 2, 2023. He was born on January 1, 1953 to Fred and Virginia (Butler) Bowdry in Chicago, Illinois.
Eric graduated from Malcolm X College with a degree in Criminal Justice. He served his country in the United States Air Force. He worked as a Probation Officer for over 29 years in Illinois. He enjoyed playing chess, board games, and listening to satellite radio. Eric had a special appreciation for music, especially Jazz. He enjoyed time with his family and friends and will be missed greatly.
Eric is survived by his sons Jason Thompson and Eric White; 1 grandson; many loving extended family and friends.
Eric was preceded in death by his parents and several aunts and uncles.
Eric will be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
