Dolores Marlene Dorman, 83, passed away on March 28, 2020. She was born on September 15, 1936 to Walter and Mabel Pierce in Jefferson, Missouri.
Marlene was very artistic and creative. She loved to paint nature scenes. Marlene enjoyed sewing, drawing, arts and crafts, and cooking. She enjoyed reading romance novels and taking long walks around her neighborhood. Marlene worked in sales at Lazarus and Jacobson’s for a period of over 30 years. Marlene was a member of Traders Pointe Christian Church. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family and loved ones.
Marlene is survived by her children Linda (Sam) Nalley, Gary (Terresa) Stoll, Anita Stoll, Dale Stoll, and Robert Koester; her grandchildren Stephanie, Katrina, Larissa, Adam, Veronica, Matthew, Benjamin, and Grace; her many great-grandchildren; her brothers David (Fran) Pierce, Charles (Pat) Pierce and James Pierce; and several nieces and nephews.
Marlene was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters Erma Lucas and Irene Taylor.
Private family services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer’s Association.
