Christina L. (Beckham) Lane, 56, of Jesup, GA passed from this world Wednesday, September 15, 2021. Christie was born in Evansville, Indiana, July 25, 1965 to Robert E. Beckham and Louanna Smith. Christie was an F. J. Reitz High School Graduate; Class of 1983. Christie had lived in Jesup, Wayne County, Georgia, for the past 30 years. Christie spent most of those years as a homemaker, raising her children. She had most recently worked as a pharmacy tech at Walmart for several years before becoming ill.
Christie is survived by her former spouse, Donnie Lane of Odum, GA; Her children, Halie (Garrett) Frye of Odum, GA, Joey Klausmeier, Andie (Roy) Tabb, and Aidan Lane all of Jesup, GA, Grandchildren: Alice, Ryder, Saya, Layla, Hazel, Oaklie and Ella. Mother, Louanna Mattson, Brother, Brad (Courtney) Mattson both of Evansville, IN; sister, Kerri Jo (Henry) Kares, of Fort Branch, IN. Father, Bob (Roxanne) Beckham, sister, Tracy (Cory) Phipps of Waterloo, IL; Nieces, Aubrie Coakley, Avery Mattson and Rowan Phipps. Several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive her.
Services were held Friday, September 17, 2021 at Rinehart & Sons Funeral Home. Interment at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery; Odum, Georgia
A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 11:30am, at Howell General Baptist Church, Evansville, Indiana. Reverend Terry Gamblin officiating, Visitation will be at 10:30am until service time at the church.
