Carol N. Cole, 79, passed away on May 6, 2023. She was born on January 11, 1944, to Russell James Spencer Halvorson and Henrietta Halvorson in Elberfeld, Indiana.

Carol graduated from Millersburg High School. She went on to start her own business of over 30 years Econo-Clean. She loved spending time outdoors fishing and camping. She was a talented card player, poker was her favorite. She loved having her family over to host holiday get-togethers. Carol will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her.

Carol is survived by children David Cole and Kevin Cole; grandchildren David Cole Jr. and Wendy Cole; brother John Halvorson (Thelma); sister-in-law’s Sylvia Day and Alberta Halvorson; nieces and nephews Russell James Spencer Halvorson III, Brandi Shoemaker, Cynthia Sullivan (Dan), Jenny Dutton; many great-nieces and great-nephews and loving extended family.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband David Cole; brother Russell James Spencer Halvorson II; daughter-in-law Lori Lee Cole; brother-in-law Merton Day; and niece Mandy Bailey.

Visitation will be from 11am until the time of service at 12pm on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel of Peace Mausoleum.
