Brenda Lee Helms, 63, passed away on March 3, 2021. She was born on November 23, 1957 to Lou and Thelma Abney in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania.
Brenda loved to take care of her children and devoted her life to loving her family and they loved her the same. She worked two jobs to make sure her family were the happiest they could be, even if that meant shoes she could make fun of them for. She was an excellent cook, her family says she has perfected a coconut cream pie. She was a proud beautician and such an amazing stylist. She enjoyed playing cards and knitting in her free time. She loved music, she enjoyed singing and listening to old Rock and Roll and older 90’s country music. She enjoyed spending time with Judy Kingsbury, one of her dearest friends.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents; Lou and Thelma Abney.
Brenda is survived by her loving husband, Darren Helms; her children Jason Paul (Lynn Willett) Josh Paul (Melissa Kennett), Kelsie Helms, Goddaughter Rachel Paul, and her fur baby Drake; her brother Mike (Elaine) Abney; her nieces and nephews Jennifer Hipp, Jared Hipp, Justin Abney, Jared Abney and great nephew Theodore Hipp; her special friend Patty Bowser and Connie Rumble. She will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends.
