Beautiful sweet Janie my heart has been heavy since Friday night when I got the call that you weren’t well. I don’t know how we’ll all go on without you. You meant so much more to Jeff, Daisy and I than you will ever know. I wish I’d have seen you one last time Friday night. Fly high sweet angel you will surely be missed. A piece of my heart is missing. Love hugs and prayers to Lisa, Connie, Candy, Ciara and the rest of the family. I know you are going through the most difficult time of your life. Love you all. Until we meet again sweet Janie rest in heaven.
Beverly Jane Reutter, 78, went home to be with the Lord on November 3, 2019. She was born on March 6, 1941 to Paul “Pete” and Violet Blue in Evansville, Indiana.
Janie loved the Lord with all her heart. She loved going to church and was a member of Rapha Christian Centre. Janie retired from working as a payroll specialist at an accounting firm after 30 years. Janie loved spending time with her family, especially playing with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed watching movies. Her favorite genre was horror and suspense. She also enjoyed shopping.
Janie is survived by her daughter Lisa (Steve) Hajek; her grandchildren Ciara (Darrell) Englert, Connie Hajek (Nick Tieken), and Candy (Derek) Nurrenbern; her great-grandchildren Dawson Englert, Jaxon Nurrenbern, Kinsley Nurrenbern; her siblings Pete Blue, Scarlett Yockey, Sue (Lou) Mizzoni, and Tonuya Roy; her second family Jack and Shirley Hajek and family; and numerous nieces and nephews and countless others that called her Grams.
Janie was preceded in death by her husband of 30 years Donnie Reutter; her son Blaine Reutter; her brother Jim Chandler; her aunt that raised her Sarah “Beck” Gardner; and her brothers-in-law Jerry Yockey and Freddie Roy.
A fellowship will begin at 12 p.m. on Saturday, November 9th at Rapha Christian Centre at 940 St. Michael Blvd Evansville, IN 47715. A celebration of life will begin at 4 p.m. Pastor Jim Webb will lead the service, but all are welcome to share their stories if they would like. The family would like to thank the Deaconess Hospice floor for all of their help and care of Janie. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Highland Challenger League 916 Crown Point Evansville, IN 47710.
