    Betty was amazing!!! I had the pleasure of caring for her , she was buckshot betty from always winning at bingo!!!! im very blessed that i got to care for her!!!!!

    I often think back and will always treasure the time with my Aunt Betty. There were many fishing trips. We were always after those catfish. Condolences to everyone.

Betty Joan (Osborne) Pheral, 90, passed away on September 12, 2022. She was born on January 2, 1932 to Clem Jones Osborne and Minnie Pearl (Sallee) Osborne in Evansville, Indiana. Betty lived in California for years before moving to Eddyville, Kentucky, and locating back to Evansville just a few years ago. She babysat for many years, she had a heart for caring for others. She loved to fish, cook, and play games.

Betty is survived by her children Karen (Mike) Helmer, Kathy (Dan) Bohleber, Greg Pheral, Mike (Angela) Pheral; 9 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years George Ragon Pheral; she was the youngest and last surviving of 13 siblings; grandson Eric Helmer; granddaughter Amanda Boyken; and infant son David who was stillborn.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11am on Monday, September 19, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home.
