Za’Riyah Elizabeth Gardner was born to LaShonda Leathers and Dionta Gardner. She went home to be with the Lord on July 19th, 2022. She will be truly missed by many of her loved ones that did not get the chance to meet her. She leaves in loving memory her mother and father and three sisters Dai’onna, Malaisha, Ma’laya, three brothers Dionta, Jaivionta, Ja’marion, 6 aunties, 8 uncles, a host of cousins. She is preceded in death by Grandma Elizabeth Leathers.
Now I lay me down to sleep. I pray the Lord my soul to keep. Angels watch me through the night and wake me with the morning light. Don’t weep at my grave; for I am not there, I’ve got a date with grandma to dance in the air. I’ll be singing in the sunshine wild and free. Playing tag with the wind up in the sky. You don’t have to worry cause an angel is nearby.
A service for Za’Riyah will take place on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at 1pm at Sunset Memorial Park at the Serenity Chapel.
