Evansville – William Dean Harwell, 62, of Evansville, passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at River Pointe Health Campus. He was born on Friday, February 27, 1959 in Henderson, KY to Walter Harwell and Joyce (Jones) Harwell.
Bill enjoyed motorcycle riding with his family, fishing trips with friends, and using his wit to crack good comebacks with anyone he met. Some may have heard him claim himself as “Wild Bill from Evansville.”
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Joyce (Jones) Harwell; brothers, Edward Harwell and Michael Harwell; and grandchildren, Chrishtian Harwell and Akierah Harwell.
He is survived by his brothers, James (Susie) Harwell and Robert Harwell; children Sonya Harwell, Chris (Sarah) Harwell, Jessica (Kenneth) Pulliam; and 7 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2021, at Sunset Funeral Home and Memorial Park with Larry Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit from 11:00am until service time at 1:00pm at the funeral home.
