I’m so sorry for your loss. “Huffy” was one of the good ones. I often wondered what he was doing with his retirement years. I met Bill in 1970 with his exwife. We got together from time to time. They even came to see me and my ex when we lived in NC. I worked with Bill for many years. He was certainly one of the good ones. He was actually a funny guy. He will be missed. His birthday and my son’s birthday are a day apart. Yep, Bill will be missed.
William “Bill” E. Huffine, 74, passed away on June 11, 2023. He was born on January 12, 1949, to William H. Huffine and SueAnn Huffine in Evansville, Indiana.
Bill was a proud Vietnam Veteran serving two tours in the United States Marine Corp. as Sergeant E-5. He was a lifelong member of DAV Post #7 and VFW Post #1114. Bill worked for the United States Postal Service for over 35 years. He was an avid NASCAR fan and never missed a Sunday race. Above all, Bill loved his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 21 years Linda Huffine; children Cory W. Huffine (Tina), Michael E. Huffine, Kerriann Huffine; grandchildren Masin W. Huffine, Anniston O. Huffine, Alexandra L. Huffine; and sister Janet Shackleford (Gene).
