Wendy Lea Walters, 49, passed away on May 5, 2019. She was born on March 1, 1970 to James Walters Sr. and Diana Brown in Henderson, Kentucky.
Wendy was a wolf enthusiast. She enjoyed collecting wolf figurines. She also enjoyed watching crime tv and listening to rock and roll. Above all else, Wendy loved spending time with her granddaughters. She loved her family with all her heart and will be dearly missed.
Wendy is survived by her children Dustin Murray and Quila McCarthy; her granddaughters Chloe and Alexis McCarthy; her mother Diana (Dave) Brown; her brother James (Heather) Walters Jr.; several loving nieces and nephews; and a special one she held close to her heart, Boopie.
Wendy was preceded in death by her grandfather Johnny Dupont and her grandmother Flo “Me Me” Cravens.
A visitation will be from 3 p.m. until time of service at 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 9th at Sunset Funeral Home.
