Wanda Kay (Higginbottom) Becker, 70, of Boonville, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, November 03, 2020. She was born in Evansville, Indiana on March 07, 1950 to the late Jesse and Vera (Brunson) Higginbottom.
She was a caregiver at ResCare for 37 years, and she loved her job and clients she worked with. The most important part of Wanda’s life was her family and friends. She cherished every moment she was able to spend with them. She truly enjoyed doing crafts and gardening-especially plants and flowers.
Wanda was preceded in death not only by her parents, but also her brother Eric Higginbottom. She is survived by her son Joseph Becker and his wife Brandy of Boonville, Indiana; her sister Diane Wilhite; her brother Mark Higginbottom and his wife Robin; her grandsons Brandon and Chase Becker; several nieces and nephews; and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at Burdette Park shelter number 18 on November 22, 2020. Visitation will begin at 12:00 P.M. with the service starting at 2:00 P.M. Feel free to come and say farewell anytime between 12:00 P.M. and 5:00 P.M.
