Dear Linda, Johnny, and Susan, I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Vera. I always admired the determination of my stepsister Vera. She did not let her disabilities hold her down, even though she did endure a lot of suffering. I wish I could be with you there today, but I will be with you in spirit. My love, hugs, and prayers.
Vera Elizabeth Caine, 57, passed away on October 17, 2019. She was born on September 19, 1962 to John and Anna Caine in Evansville, Indiana.
Vera loved being outdoors and spending time with her family and friends. She was an animal lover, and especially loved cats and dogs. She worked in printing at Carter for 12 years. Vera enjoyed country music and playing bingo.
Vera is survived by her siblings Linda Wires, Everett “Johnny” (Nora “Becky”) Caine, and Susan Hunt.
Vera was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters Mary McCormick and LaTonya Kay.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, October 21st at Sunset Memorial Park.
