Vaughn Paul Dapper, 68, passed away September 11, 2019. He was born on March 19, 1951 to Raymond and Phyllis Dapper in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Vaughn was an auto detailer for over 30 years and absolutely loved his job. He could fix anything. Vaughn loved a good battle of wits because he usually won. He had an unmatched and wicked sense of humor, was young at heart, and had a soft spot for feel good movies. His granddaughter, Kinley, was the light of his life.
Friends believe that his devotion to her was the reason he outlived his initial 6-12-month prognosis following brain surgery in 2014.
Vaughn is preceded in death by his parents. He and his sister, Nancy Dapper, friends, and family want to extend their thanks to Heritage Center and especially
Heritage Hospice for their compassionate care in the final months of Vaughn’s life.
A celebration of Vaughn’s life to share stories and memories will be scheduled at a later date.
