Trilla June (McCoy) Dugas, 90, passed away on September 14, 2022. She was born on March 15, 1932, to Ora Giles McCoy and Hallie Mae (Bratcher) McCoy in Richland, Indiana.

Trilla graduated from Richland High School. She went on to attend Beauty School and was a Beautician for many years. She worked at General Electric in Owensboro and later retired from Windsor Plastics in Evansville. She was an FOP member.  She had a sense of humor like no other. She loved to talk and meet new people; she was a friend to all. Trilla loved her family more than anything.

Trilla is survived by her daughter Charlene (Doyle) Lampton; grandchildren Amanda (Josh) Gregory and Billy (Ashley) Lampton; great-grandchildren Graysen Lampton, Jensen Lampton, Kaylen Lampton, Charli Mae Gregory; many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Trilla was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather Russell Partridge, great-grandson Raylan Doyle Gregory, sister Daina Weatherholt, and stepbrother Danny Partridge.

The family would like to say a special thank you to Heritage Hospice and Heritage Nursing Center for all their care and compassion. The team was absolutely wonderful.

Visitation will be from 10am until the time of service at 12pm on Monday, September 19, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home with a burial to directly follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
