Tonya A. LaFary Bond, 52, went home to be with the Lord on October 4, 2022. She was born on January 13, 1970 in Evansville, Indiana.
Tonya retired from over 25 years at the Evansville State Hospital. She was strong in her faith and was a devoted Christian. Tonya was an animal lover and had a family of exotic animals, African Greys, Macaws, and her best friend for many years Gizmo the Chihuahua. She was a joy to be around and will be missed greatly.
Tonya is survived by her father Kenneth LaFary (Teresa); husband Rob Bond; grandmothers Delores LaFary and Joyce Grant; sister Michelle (Greg) Graham and their children Charlie and Amanda Graham; and numerous extended family and friends.
Tonya was preceded in death by her mother Linda Powers; grandfather Marlin Grant; and sister Jennifer Lynn Powers.
