Toni Jane Hickman

Toni Jane Hickman, 54, passed away on March 19, 2023.

She was born on October 1, 1968, to Marion Hickman and Aleen (Miller) Gonterman in Evansville, Indiana.

Toni was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, daughter, and friend. Toni was kind-hearted, compassionate, and selfless; she loved wholeheartedly. She had tremendous crafting abilities, she could make just about anything. She had a passion for creating new knick-knacks. She had a green thumb, she had the most beautiful plants. Toni loved her family more than anything and treasured spending time together. Toni will be missed and remembered by the many lives she touched.

Toni is survived by daughter Crystal Norris (Rex Jr.); grandchildren Rex Norris III, Katherine Norris, Matte Norris, Andrew Norris, Matthew Boatman Jr.; siblings Lisa Smithey, Michael Minton, Loretta Minton; mother Aleen Gonterman and stepfather Richard Gonterman; nieces and nephews Ricky (Krystle) Smithey, Kendra Saddler, Shane Smithey, Brayden Langston, Kaitlyn Fisher, Tiffany Fisher; numerous extended family.

Toni was preceded in death by her son Matthew Eugene Boatman and her father Marion E. Hickman.

Visitation will be from 11am until the time of service at 12pm on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel of Peace Mausoleum. Donations may be made to Sunset Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
