Timothy T Timson Sr., 67, passed away on August 7, 2019. He was born on August 14, 1951 to Alton and Lennie M. Timson in St. Louis, Missouri.
Tim served his country in the United States Army for 25 years and was a member of the American Legion. After, he retired from Sears in receiving for over 20 years. Tim enjoyed watching old movies and tv shows. His favorite was Jeopardy and he would watch it twice a day. Tim also enjoyed working on crossword puzzles and was an avid recycler. Tim loved his family and his children and grandchildren lovingly called him TT.
Tim is survived by his loving wife Mary Timson; his sons Timothy Timson Jr. and William Timson; his grandchildren Debra Timson, Clara Timson, Dylan Williamson, Timothy Timson, William Tuck; his great-grandson Koltyn Moore; thirteen loving nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and nephews; and many step-sisters and brothers, brothers and sisters-in-law and cousins.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers David and Ed Timson.
A celebration of life will be at 11 a.m. Monday, August 12th at Sunset Funeral Home in Evansville, Indiana. Friends and family may visit from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m.
A visitation with close family will be from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 14th at Ziegenhein Funeral Home 4830 Lemay Ferry Road St. Louis, Missouri 63129. A military graveside service will be at 1 p.m. at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri on Wednesday, August 14th.
