Thomas Earel Brown, 86, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2023. He was born on May 13, 1936, to Cornelius A. Brown and Maggie L. (Wilkins) Brown in Providence, Kentucky.
Thomas was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Thomas was the most kind-hearted, generous, and exceptional man. He served his country in the United States Army. He worked as a Cabinet Engineer for over 30 years. Thomas cherished time spent with his family; they were his pride and joy.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 65 years Betty J. Brown; children Michael (Susan) Brown, Cliff (Valerie) Brown, Kimberly (Darrin) Voegel, Rick Brown; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters and 1 brother; several cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and 6 siblings.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023 from 4pm until 8pm and following on Saturday at 11am until the time of service at 12pm on March 4, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Home with a burial to directly follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
