I worked with Steve and Roger at Escalade Sports. We had lots of good times while working there. My heart goes out to Roger and his family for their loss. RIP my friend and fly high with the Angels!!
Very dear friend, Steve was such a great influance for our kids, was always with us on vacations, party’s, holidays. Just a great friend and we miss him, prayers for his family.
Steve was such a great guy and wonderful friend. Always a jokester in grade school at Lodge Elementary. He had an amazing capacity for compassion toward the hardship of others, and was the first to offer a kind word and prayer. God be with his family at this difficult time.
Stephen Ray Brauser, 60, passed away on August 11, 2020. He was born on October 9, 1959 to Donald Brauser and Mary Kitzinger in Evansville, Indiana.
Steve was an avid sports fan. He loved to cheer on the St. Louis Cardinals, IU basketball, and the Miami Dolphins. He also loved to play softball. Steve was a fork lift operator for Escalade Sports for over 20 years. When he was younger, Steve was very active. He enjoyed working out and lifting weights. Above all else, he loved riding his bicycle. He would ride as often as he could.
Steve is survived by his mother Mary Kitzinger; his brother Roger (Julie) Brauser; his niece Emalee Brauser; and several loving cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Steve was preceded in death by his brother Keith Brauser and his father Donald Brauser.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, August 13th at Sunset Memorial Park.
