Stephen Lavern Hudson, 73, passed away on May 22, 2020. He was born on March 16, 1947 to Wilford “Bill” and Mary Frances Hudson in Evansville, Indiana.
Steve served his country in the United States Air Force. He spent most of his life working as a carpenter. He was a tinkerer and loved working outdoors or in the garage. He also enjoyed reloading ammo. Steve loved to play the guitar and sing. Steve loved spending time with his family and friends.
Steve is survived by his children Stephen (Danielle) Hudson, Chris Hudson (Lisa Smith), Tracey Khan, and Shawn Hudson; his grandchildren Elizabeth, Christin, Shelby, Noah, Adam, Lilly, Emma, Cameron, Ashley, Drew, Josh, Megan, and Moriah; his 4 great-grandchildren; his siblings Charlie, David, Stanley, Roger, Judy, Cheryl, Mark, and Gary; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Steve was preceded in death by his wife Voncille Hudson; his parents; and his brother Larry.
Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday, May 25th at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 12 pm on Tuesday, May 26th at Sunset Funeral Home. Friends and family can visit from 11 am until time of service.
