Stephen A. Eddmenson, 73, went home to be with the Lord on December 14, 2022. He was born on August 27, 1949 to Andrew and Joyce Eddmenson in Evansville, Indiana.
Steve proudly served his country in the United States Army. He graduated from Central High School. He devoted 23 years to working at Lewis Bakery. Steve had a green thumb, he greatly enjoyed gardening and working in his yard. He was known to collect little red trucks. Steve and his wife, Linda, had a true passion for animals. Together, they devoted 16 years to River City Schutzhund Club in both Evansville and Bowling Green, Kentucky, and loved every minute. Above all, Steve was a family man. Steve will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Steve is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Linda (Roberts) Eddmenson; children William (Bonnie) Waelde, Joey (Lori) Eddmenson, Jamey Eddmenson; siblings Gary (Linda) Eddmenson, Cherie Robinson, Charles Eddmenson, Angie Stinchfield; sister-in-law Sue Albin; 9 grandchildren; multiple great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, great-great niece and nephews; and extended family. Steve was preceded in death by his parents and his step-daughter Laurinda Dean.
Services for Steve will be private.
