Sherrill Homer Lacer, 89, of Henderson, Kentucky passed away surrounded by family in Spottsville, Ky on March 26, 2023. Sherrill was born in Henderson, KY on May 5, 1933 to Stanley and Ester Lacer.
Sherrill was such a kind and caring man. He was such a hard worker and adored his grandchildren. Sherrill loved being outdoors any chance he could enjoying going fishing and hunting.
Sherrill leaves behind Shirley Lacer his loving wife of 69 years. He will also be missed by his children; Brent (Pennye) Lacer and Trent Lacer. Sherrill also leaves behind his grandchildren; Jeri (Vince) Peckinpaugh, Christina (Casey) Hicks, Amber (Bo) Veach, Winter (Josh) Harden, Drake Scott, Keira (Ryan) Scott, Eric Lacer, LaTosha Lacer, and Jason Lacer. He also will be missed by his 15 great grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, 2 brothers Alfred (Martha) Lacer and Ray (JoAnn) Lacer, and many nieces and nephews.
Sherrill is preceded in death by his parents Stanley and Ester Lacer, his daughter Marla Buley, and several other siblings.
