Sandra Kay Justus passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on March 18, 2023.

Sandy was born on October 22, 1940, to Ermal and Fern (Thompson) Reed in Fort Branch, Indiana.

Sandy worked at Donut Bank for over 20 years. She worked alongside her husband, OJ, they were inseparable in all they did. Sandy was a sweetheart with a heart of gold. She was a talented cook and loved having her family at home sharing a meal. She had an impressive collection of frog memorabilia. She was a lifelong member of the Owls and River City Eagles. Above all, her favorite memories were surrounded by her loving family. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Sandy will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her.

Sandy is survived by her husband of 31 beautiful years Olus “OJ” Justus; children Vaughn “Spanky” Adams Jr. (Tammie), Lisa Emory (Ronald), Charles Justus (Debra), Jackie Moore; grandchildren Ethan Adams, Tabbitha Adams, Christopher Adams, Samantha Adams, Dana Adams, Zeke Adams, Elizabeth “Rizzi” Chambers, Joe Hyneman, Brenden Moore, Kylie Moore, Amanda Gudorf, Andrew Emory, Brandon Justus, Brittany Norton, Lexi Justus; 22 great-grandchildren; sister Barbara “Bobbie” Woods; many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Joyce Mason, Herb Reed, Ray Reed, and Joe Reed.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023 at North Haven General Baptist Life Center from 1-5pm located at 1800 Haven Drive, Evansville, IN. 47711.
