Ryan Patrick Stearns, age 29, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021. Ryan was born on December 27, 1991 in Murphysboro, Illinois to Darren and Judy (Rawlings) Stearns.
Ryan loved life, baseball, and was an avid fan of the St Louis Cardinals. He was also a fan of the LA Lakers, and Kobe Bryant. Ryan was employed by SRG Global in Evansville Indiana. His interests were baseball, basketball, football, music and his video games. He loved his family, proud dad of Emmalynn loving son, grandson, brother and partner.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather J.C. Rawlings. He is survived by his parents Darren and Judy; daughter Emmalynn Stearns; girlfriend Taylor Gentry; sister Hayley Stearns; brother Reese (Brittany) Stearns; maternal grandmother Charlene Rawlings; paternal grandmother Carol Cotham; paternal grandfather Herb Stearns; aunts Connie Madula and Brenda Ates; uncle Aaron Stearns; and his niece River Stearns.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021 from 10:30am-1pm at Sunset Funeral Home. Services will begin at 1pm in the Chapel at Sunset Funeral Home with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
The family requests that donations be made to the Kidney Foundation in Ryan’s name.
