Rosalie Elaine Whittington, 69, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022. She was born to Luther W. and Ruby Lucille Smith on September 13, 1952 in Louisville, KY.
Rosalie loved antiquing, cross stitch, and quilting. She loved her family, especially her 3 granddaughters she affectionately called her “GORGUS GYPSY GURLS”!
She is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Jerry Smith. Rosalie is survived by her sons Jerome (Ashley) Whittington and Jason (Gayle) Whittington; her “gorgus gypsy gurls” Delaney, Emerson, and Meredith Whittington; sisters Cathy (Jerry) Payton and Debbie Roach; brother David (Mary) Smith; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 10, 2022 from 11am-12pm at the Serenity Mausouleum at Sunset Memorial Park. The funeral service will begin at 12pm with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
