Ron was great to work with in scouts when our sons were in scouting. We had good times together on the campouts I attended. He and Mike Denton and Neil Barnett were great scout leaders.

Ron was a terrific leader and mentor. His dedication to Scouting and the scouts of Troop 161 was beyond anyone’s expectations. I will hold many fond memories of several campouts with the scouts. Ron’s leadership lead many young men in the scouting program to earn the highest rank of Eagle Scout. Ron’s mentoring has molded many young scouts into outstanding adults. Ron has impacted so many in a positive way and will be missed by all. Condolences to all the families impacted by his passing.
