Ronald L. Koch, 85, passed away on July 20, 2023. He was born on November 14, 1937, to Oscar and Estella (Wingerter) Koch in Evansville, Indiana.
Ron was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy serving in the Korean War. He was a jack of all trades. He was a master carpenter, and enjoyed playing softball, running track, and listening to music. He had an infectious laugh and always had a good joke to tell. He was such a hard worker and was dedicated to providing for his family. Ron was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother.
Ron is survived by his wife Jeanne; children Ronda Koch, Jeff (Patty) Koch, David (Patty) Ethridge; grandchildren Nate (Bekah), Benjamin (Karley), Alex (Lauren) Ethridge, Kyle Ethridge, Massi, Heidyn; great-grandchildren; Claire, Charlotte, Wade (Nate), and Audry Jane (Alex); brother Bob (Diane) Koch; and numerous extended family.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents Oscar and Estella Koch.
Visitation will be from 11am until the time of service at 12pm on Monday, July 24, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Home Shepherd Chapel Mausoleum with a burial to directly follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
