Roger Thomas, 76, passed away on April 7th, 2021. He was born on May 18, 1944, to Granis Thomas and Vona (Brown) Thomas in Oakland City, Indiana.
Roger worked as a CNA for almost 30 years. He spent his time watching NASCAR races and was an avid racing fan. He enjoyed watching baseball in his free time. Roger was a handyman, his children can remember the many years he would fix up cars. He had a love for the outdoors, spending time fishing, camping, and gardening flowers. In his recent years, he took up antiquing. He was a man of many hobbies. Roger will be missed by many.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents Granis and Vona Thomas.
Roger is survived by his children Tim (Wendy) Thomas, Angie Hume; grandchildren Connor Thomas, Emma Bagwell, Ashley Hume, Ashley (Connor) Mowery, and Joshua Hume; great-grandchildren Ethan, Crimson, Daniel; siblings Larry and Sig Thomas, Nancy Gilmour, Sandra Miller.
