Rocky Allen Evans, 66, passed away on January 10, 2023. He was born on September 16, 1956 to George and Martha Evans in Evansville, Indiana.
Rocky was the most kind-hearted, thoughtful, and helpful man. Rocky never knew a stranger. His passion was working on old cars, especially Hot Rods. Rocky was witty and was known for his infamous stories. He was a talented artist, he enjoyed drawing and photography. He loved all cats, and his beloved cat Smokey. Rocky will be missed greatly by all.
Rocky is survived by his children Allan Evans, Rocky Evans Jr.; siblings George (Sheila) Evans, Carla (Michael) Fenwick, Randy (Monica) Evans, Johnny (Cathy) Evans; nieces and nephews Missy, Tracey, Mike, Earl, Margaret, Michael, Michelle, Benton, Kamhi, Shannon, Brandy, Glenn, Tommy, Gary, Bobby; close friends Fat Cat, Tookie, Scott and Glenn Vandever; numerous extended family.
Rocky was preceded in death by his loving wife of 18 wonderful years Sally A. Evans; parents George and Martha Evans; sisters Nancy Vandever, and Betty Vandever.
Visitation will be from 2pm until the time of service at 4pm on Tuesday, January 17th, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Home.
