It was a pleasure knowing Bob. He showed everyone how to fight a good fight. During the past few years it has been a struggle for him. Bob and I were great friends. I appreciate his service to our country, as well as to the Moose.

Robert (Bob) Gibbons, 86, passed away November 1, 2018 in Evansville, IN. Bob retired from Alcoa after 27 years of faithful service. He loved to golf, was an avid gardener, and among all he loved his family with all his heart.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 40 years Mary Lou Gibbons; son Brian (Jane) Gibbons; one daughter; three step-children Robert (Dorothy) East of Poseyville, IN, Sandra East (Michael Bull) of Newburgh, IN, and Sherri (Oscur) Briggeler of Stewartsville, IN; five step-grandchildren Bryan (Sabrina) Faust, Brandy (Kevin) Loviscek, Brad (Sara) Faust, Crystal Hayden, and Jody Price; and nine great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday November 9th at Sunset Funeral Home from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM with a funeral service to follow. Burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Park following the service.
In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House.
