Peggy D. Sharp, 74, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 30, 1948 to Clarence Douglas Sharp and Dorothy Lucille (Cole) Sharp in Evansville, Indiana.

Peggy graduated from Benjamin Bosse High School. She went on to work as a Loan Officer for over 30 years. In her early years, she would rattle off the most hilarious one-liners. She loved making others feel special; she went all out on birthdays and holidays to surprise her loved ones. Peggy remembered the little things and touched the lives of all. The most important thing to Peggy was her grandchildren.

Peggy is survived by her siblings Jenny (Bob) Schucker, Carolyn (Robert) Hendrickson, Michael Sharp, Jimmy (Melinda) Sharp; son-in-law Ronnie Schartzer; grandchildren Ronnie “Lee” Schartzer and Shelby Jeannette Schartzer; 15 nieces and nephews; aunt Mary Ruth Hurd; and numerous extended family.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Robin Schartzer; brother Douglas Lee Sharp; sister-in-law Terri Sharp and Carilou Sharp.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Linda E. White Hospice for their care and compassion during this time.

Visitation will be from 11am until the time of service at 12pm on Thursday, April 13, 2023 in the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Linda E. White Hospice in loving memory of Peggy.
