Patricia “Pat” Matson

Patricia “Pat” Louise Matson, 78, of Evansville, Indiana passed away surrounded by her loving family on September 1, 2022.  Pat was born in Anthony, Kansas on September 8, 1943 to Ernest and Nellie Jo Matson.

Pat was so very talented.  She sewed, painted, crocheted, made clothing, and made jewelry.  Pat was so crafty and everything was self-taught by reading a lot of books and watching Bob Ross.  Pat also was an herbalist.  Above all of that Pat was such a kind and caring woman.  She was an incredible mom, grandma, great grandma, sister, and friend.  Pat would do anything for her family.

Pat leaves behind her children; Brena Flota, Cindy (Kevin Sr.) Waters, Kim (Ronald) Vore, and Leroy Green.  Pat will also be missed by her grandchildren; Brandie, Jolene, Kody, Kyle, Zachary, Elijah, Vanessa, Emily, David, Miranda, Patricia, Lindsey, and Kevin Jr. as well as many great grandchildren; Jayden, Katherine, Cedric, and one on the way.  Pat also leaves behind her siblings; Jimmy, Laverne, and Mary as well as many nieces and nephews and loving in laws.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Nellie Jo Matson, her grandchild Ian, and her great grandchild Chloe.  Pat also is preceded in death by her siblings; Willy, Chester, and Harold.

Visitation for Pat will be Friday September 9^th, 2022 10am to 11am at the mausoleum at Sunset  Memorial Park with service at 11am.
