We are so sorry to hear of the loss of Midge. She was such a sweet, loving and kind individual. May the sweet memory of her surround you with love and warmth always.
I haven’t seen her since HS but we got back in contact on FB. My prayers for the family, may you memories help you through the following days. God Bless
Kids, i am so sorry for the loss of your mother, we had many adventures together from 1992 until i left the area in 2002. We had been in touch in the last 5 years over fb but i didn’t know she was sick. Your mother was one of a kind. Every one loved her.
Mildred “Midge” Brown, 53, went home to be with the Lord on September 21, 2020. She was born on August 31, 1967 in Upland, California.
Midge had a wonderful sense of humor and an infectious laugh. Midge was a huge Elvis Presley fan. She loved visiting Graceland and visited there 99 times. Above all else, Midge loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
Midge is survived by her children Jason Smith, Melanie Smith, Nicholas Smith, Bryant (Rashelle) Mortis, and Miranda Burchuk; her grandchildren Josiah Vanscyoc, Evan Smith, Amber Smith, Isaiah Mortis, Serenity Mortis, Mikayla Mortis, Kaiden Mortis, and Olive Claybrooks; her siblings Brad Brown, Rick Brown and Mark Brown; her partner for life Michael Wilzbacher; and several loving nieces and nephews.
Midge was preceded in death by her parents William and Doris Brown and her siblings Timothy Brown and Dinita Brown.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service at 12 p.m. Monday, September 28th at Sunset Funeral Home with a burial to directly follow at Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer’s Association.
