Sorry to hear of his passing. We got to know each other as pre-teens at Dietz Lake, Brazil Indiana. Andy and Mick were older than myself and once as a innocent bystander because of their brotherly fight we all got expelled back to our cabins the rest of the day. I can laugh at it all these years later. Micky, as the only name i knew him by enjoyed basketball like myself and we had some excellent 1 on 1 games. RIP.
There are no words that can lessen the sorrow for this beautiful family, but memories are precious, and his smile and laugh were contagious. Growing up Mick was always kind to me. I remember when one of the cousins was getting married I was voluntold to baby- sit for Mick and Andy. During the evening I developed a migraine and Mick encouraged me to lay down and go to sleep, and said they would be fine and promised to behave. Mick put a blanket over me and placed a cold wash cloth on my head, and he woke me up before his parents came in the front door.
