    I loved visiting your home as a child. It was the only glimpse of a traditional family I had in my life. I have good memories of aunt Martha from my childhood.

Martha Sue Runnion, 76, went home to be with the Lord on June 14, 2020. She was born on September 8, 1943 to Joseph and Emmajean Wright in Morganfield, Kentucky.

Martha was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Her main passion in life was her loving family. She loved spending time with and taking care of her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling around the United States with her husband. She was also an amazing cook and loved to cook for the holidays. Martha was a member of Crossroads Christian Church.

Martha is survived by her husband of 60 years Bill Runnion; her sons Jim (Laura) Runnion and Bill (Kim) Runnion; her grandchildren Cory (Jorhdon) Wood, Stacey (Adam) Downs, Nicole (Jake) Blanton, and Colin Runnion (Gabe Ramsey); her great-grandchildren Jaylei Woods and Chayce Woods; her sister Audrey Wright; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings James Wright, Patricia Wright, and Joanna Farmer.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of service at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, June 17th at Sunset Funeral Home with a burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
