Marilyn Sue Bradley, 78, passed away on August 11, 2019. She was born on July 23, 1941 to Oatley and Ruth Fleeger in Evansville, Indiana.

Marilyn was a hugger. There was not a person she would meet that she didn’t immediately give a hug to after introducing herself. For most of her life, Marilyn was a nursing assistant. She loved her job and worked for several nursing homes including Regina’s and Brentwood. Marilyn loved the Lord. She was very religious and loved going to church. She was a member of Keck Ave Baptist Church.

Marilyn is survived by her children Cindy (Larry) Lindsey, Kathy (Bobby) Payne, Elizabeth (John) Simmons, Pat (David) Cox, Connie Burris, and Ivan (Missy) Bradley; 18 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; her siblings Randy (Norma) Fleeger, David Fleeger, Phyllis (Ira) Harris, Larry (Sue) Fleeger, and Jerry Fleeger; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband James Bradley; her parents; her sisters Carol Goodman and Patty Fleeger; and her sister-in-law Kathy Fleeger.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Thursday, August 15th at Sunset Funeral Home. A funeral service will be at 12 p.m. Friday, August 16th at Sunset Funeral Home with a burial to directly follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Friends and Family may visit from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the food bank of your choice.
