Hello everyone from Lisa Gansman Powers. I want to wish you all healing and love as you experience this life event with the passing of Aunt Margaret. I wish I could be there.
Margaret Boyd, 67, passed away on June 6, 2019. She was born on January 5, 1952 to Edward and Josephine Gansman in Evansville, Indiana.
Margaret was a wonderful woman who had a heart of gold. She was raised in the St. John’s Catholic Church area. She was strong in her catholic faith. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her siblings. She had a special bond with all of her siblings. Margaret liked to craft and was a huge Elvis fan. Margaret is now in Heaven with a smile on her face living her dream of having a tea party with her grandson Andrew.
Margaret is survived by her children Duane (Jacinda) Boyd and Pamela Smith (Mark Reinitz); her granddaughter Emma Boyd; her siblings Harold (Judy) Gansman, James (Joann) Gansman, Gene (Janie) Gansman, Betty (Carl) Rexing, Carolyn Wolfe, Marilyn (John) Maroni, Dorothy Grace, Barbara Paul, Ronald (Jean) Gansman; and several loving nieces and nephews.
Margaret was preceded in death by the love of her life Willard Boyd; her grandson Andrew Smith; and her brothers Paul Gansman and Bernard Gansman.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time service at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 8th at Sunset Funeral Home with a burial to directly follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
