Mardel Ann Schnautz, 83, passed away on June 25, 2019. She was born on October 14, 1935 to Daniel and Leona Rodenberg in Evansville, Indiana.
Mardel was a Reitz High School graduate. After she graduated, she worked as a secretary for Evansville Stock Yard for several years. She enjoyed cleaning and walking. Above all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Mardel was a member of the Homemaker’s Club and attended Old North United Methodist Church.
Mardel is survived by her children Alvin (Bonnie) Schnautz Jr. and Michelle (Ben) Austin; her grandchildren Cassandra Schnautz, Wes Nickens, Casey (Wes) Wright, Andrea Titzer, MacKenzie (Luke) Austill; and her great-grandchildren Kaitlyn, Kennedy, and Abraham Walker.
Mardel was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Alvin Schnautz and her parents.
Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. Friday, June 28th at Sunset Funeral Home with a burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
