    I loved coming over and seeing her smile and talk to me to keep calm and she was always sweet and very loving I will miss her messages and her calling and texting me it doesn’t seem real that she passed away this has hit me pretty hard and I wish it wasn’t true

Lori Lynn Koss, 57, passed away on October 26, 2019. She was born on January 16, 1962 to Jerry Moyer and Judith Bates in Oakland City, Indiana.

Lori was a very compassionate and caring woman. She spent most of her life as a caregiver for VNA. Lori loved talking to people and would help anyone she met. Especially her family. She loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart. Lori was also an animal lover and had two Chihuahuas, Sophie and Zorro, that she adored.

Lori is survived by her husband of 30 years David Koss; her daughters Anna (Kendric) Tramill and Kara (Cassius) Alexander; her grandchildren Demetrius Nelson Jr, Daijha Nelson, Anthony Winston Jr., Morgan Williams, Maliq Williams, and Mya Williams; her mother Judith Bates; her siblings Gary (Debbie) Moyer, and Angie (Buddy) Higgins, and Anna (Tracy) Moyer Henderson; her nieces and nephews Aaron, Amanda, Elizabeth, Jimmy, Derek, Randy, and Dustin; her best friend Diane (Greg) McWilliams, and her sons Doug (Jason) McWilliams and David McWilliams.

Lori was preceded in death by her father Jerry Moyer; her step-father Eldon Bates; and her sister Chrissy McGrew.
